Thank you for helping us spread the word about NFTY! We’ve included a variety of ready-to-use materials to help you advertise NFTY and our programs.
For 75 years, NFTY has offered thousands of young people the opportunity to explore and live Reform Judaism. Through programs that are offered by nearly 500 Reform congregations, 19 geographic NFTY regions, and on a North American level, teens are encouraged to forge Jewish identities in consonance with the values of Reform Judaism. Participation in NFTY helps teens build confidence, friendships and leadership skills through experiential youth-led educational programming including social justice projects, worship, and community-building initiatives. NFTY is open to teens in grades 6 to 12.
The Northen Region of NFTY serves Jewish Teens in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Manitoba, Canada, Sioux Falls, SD, and Rockford, IL. We work in partnership with Union for Reform Judaism affiliated congregations to provide meaningful Jewish experiences for middle and high school students.
NFTY is a Movement that builds strong, welcoming, inspired communities through teen-powered engagement. Together, we pursue tikkun olam, personal growth, youth empowerment, and deep connections, all rooted in Reform Judaism.
NFTY's 13 Principles
As North America's Reform Jewish Youth movement, NFTY strives to provide meaningful and engaging youth experiences for teens. These experiences are created and built off of NFTY's 13 Principles. These principles serve as the foundation of NFTY, ensuring that our movement's mission and journey are based on our shared values. Together, these 13 Principles are the preamble to NFTY's Constitution, guiding us as we create a holistic Jewish environment. They allow NFTY to continuously evolve, and remain a dynamic Jewish Reform Youth movement for years to come.
